We are truly delighted that you have chosen to join this community of faith and learning, and look forward to getting to know you. We want to help make your arrival as smooth as possible! For many of you, this is a time of significant transition. Please know that we are praying for you during these coming weeks.

Entering students should have received a copy of the schedule for orientation in the mail along with a book to be read before the retreat with the faculty. If you have not received this mailing, please check with us. 

Orientation Schedule, august 26-28, 2015:

Wednesday, August 26
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Information Kiosk and Check-In. Coffee and tea available all morning. (Atrium)
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - New Student Welcome and Tour of Campus (Atrium)
12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.- Lunch with Community (Koinonia)
1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Photos (Library AV Room)
2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.- Mission Plunge (Meet in Atrium for orientation and sending)
4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Choir Rehearsal (Schenk Chapel) and Photos (Library AV Room)
5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. - Community Eucharist (Schenk Chapel)
6:00 p.m. - Community Dinner (Koinonia)
6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Photos (Library AV Room)
Thursday, August 27- Retreat at Broad St Presbyterian Church (760 E Broad St Columbus, OH 43205)
8:00 a.m. – Travel to retreat location by bike or car (convoy meeting in Trinity parking lot)
8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. – Healthy Breakfast
9:00 a.m, to Noon – Debriefing of Mission Plunges; Discussion of pre-reading for Retreat
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Lunch with Advisors (Freshbox)
1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Conversation with Colleagues, Faculty and Advisors
3:15 p.m. – Travel back to campus or home
5:30 to 7:30 pm – Bexley Seabury Hall Dinner (Bexley House)

Friday, August 28
8:30 a.m. – Affirmation of Commitment to Mission and Ministry (Begins in Schenk and moves to Gloria Dei)
9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – Overview of academic, financial aid and registration information in small groups (15 minutes in each setting)
  • Group One – Ferguson, Richards, Powell, Administrative Suite, Binau
